Embrace the power of hope and healing

“Where art overcomes barriers and can be the connection that builds bridges and transforms thinking”

What are we about?

The Huntington Opioid & Addiction Task Force is delighted to collaborate with artist Susan Buroker in creating a deeply profound sculpture (10ft x 8 ft x 3ft) to be displayed in Heckscher Park in Huntington. The newly landscaped area will become a place where the essence of ‘Hope and Healing’ can provide a communal space to foster connection within the community. The sculpture is rooted in the philosophy of the Phoenix, denoting human transformation and rebirth. It will serve as a focal point for individuals seeking inspiration, motivation, and reflection.

What is our mission?

We are looking for individuals to provide messages of Hope and Healing, which will be cut into the stainless-steel sculpture via water jet. All messages, whether they be about your own recovery or a tribute to a loved one- are welcome. Join us on this journey to inspire the next generation!
